Jacoby Jones is visiting the Carolina Panthers

Jacoby Jones was released by the Texans, I am unsure how to take this.  Well all know h0w much of an up/down career Jones has had so far.  Jones has burned a number of fantasy players in the past, along with his own team since he really hasn't lived up to the expectations.  Jones has incredible speed but he just cannot run a route for nothing, he kind of reminds me of Devin Hester (which is another post in itself).  If Jones does land with the Panthers, it might be a good fit.  Jones could be a very good #2 WR behind Smith (if he can beat out LaFell for the spot) and the type of play Newton has, it might open up things for Jones.  Plus I think Jones will be an upgrade to the return game for the Panthers, which should help ball position and maybe get more things going for DeAngelo Williams and Jonathan Stewart.

All in all, I will not be drafting Jones this season for any fantasy team unless somehow he ends up being the next best option or he looks just amazing in camp and preseason (which I am sure will not happen).

Ryan Grant is going to visit with the Lions!

Oh man, the Packers might be hurting even more this season in the run game.  The Packers have not made an offer yet to Ryan Grant, which is a silly move in my eyes.  I know Ryan Grant got hurt two seasons ago but they still need him.  They did not have Brandon Jackson "free agent and signed with the Browns" last season and James Starks did not blow up the charts "only 2 total TD's" like everyone thought he would.  The Packers better hope Starks and maybe Alex Green can kill it this season, because I do not think Kuhn is really a threat in the run game.

Fantasy QB's for 2012

Hello again,
I believe this season we are going to have a number of good fantasy QB's which means you may not have to jump the gun on taking a QB 1st round. Why I like that is because you can stack your team and wait until round 5 - 7 to snag a QB that might post just a good number for you. Anyway, more on this to come during off-season / preseason.

Please look at the poll on the right side and make a vote for the better fantasy QB's for the 2012 season.

Jabar Gaffney signed with Patriots

Well Patriots and Jabar Gaffney fans it looks like your dreams may or may not of came true today. Yes it is true that Jabar Gaffney signed with the New England Patriots.
I am a little lost on why the Patriots signed Gaffney, they have signed a number of other WR's in the off-season already.  The Patriots signed, Anthony Gonzalez, Brandon Lloyd, Donté Stallworth and now Jabar Ganney.  This list does not even include the current WR's they have on the roster.  I am unsure how they plan on using all of these WR's, but maybe they don't really even care to do that.  I am thinking the Patriots wanted to signed all of these WR's so no other team in the AFC can land them and have a deep threat vs them since the Patriots had a lot of issues stopping the passing game last season.

Anyway, I guess we will all find out how the Patriots plan on using these WR's come regular season.

Reports of Terrell Suggs missing 2012 season

This morning a number of reports have come out stating that Terrell Suggs may miss the 2012 season, this is not good.  They are reporting its a Achilles tendon issue which is a big deal.  I had this happen to me in high school, it is very pain full and takes awhile to heal.  I remember when I tore my Achilles tendon I could barley walk, but I also did it on both ankles.

If Terrell does have to miss the 2012 season that is not good for the Ravens, fans and Terrell himself.  Man this off-season has been so up/down, I cannot wait to see which teams emerge and which ones fall "I am guessing the Saints fall".

Sad day in the NFL, Sports and Seau family

On April 2nd 2012, The San Diego Chargers have confirmed the passing of former NFL linebacker Junior Seau.
This is a very sad day in the NFL and sports in general.  Junior Seau was reported dead today from a gunshot wound.  Some of the reports I've seen said it was a "self-inflicted wound" and others just say "gunshot wound".  So as of right now I am unsure if it was self-inflicted or not, but either way its still a tragedy.
Junior was in the NFL for 20 years with three different teams "San Diego Chargers, Miami Dolphins and the New England Patriots".  Junior was a 1st round pick in the 1990 NFL draft going 5th overall to the San Diego Chargers.
During Juinor's time in the NFL, I believe he was one of the best to play the game and still ranks among the best ever.  Junior should be selected for the Hall of Fame in my eyes.
I would like to provide my condolences to Junior Seau's family and friends.

NFL Season 2012 - I'm ready for it to start.

Hello football fans,

So as most of you may no, it already has been a big off-season. This off-season has had tons of changes that have changed your favorite teams roster/staff.
Myself, I'm a very big Dallas Cowboys fan and so far they have made a number of changes to make me pleased. I am very happy with the Cowboys 1st round draft pick Morris Claiborne, I hope he turns out to be a beast. I cannot wait until the start of regular season and to see how all these changes and made all these teams better or worse. Anyway, I also wanted to let you know I'll be providing fantasy football advice and picks for your fantasy team this year. These picks will be for daily and year leagues.
